Rennsport Reunion III Nov 1-4 Daytona

Call me in the AM...
See you guys tomorrow around 1pm. Look for the yellow car with the tacky graphics
If any other Tampa folks want to join the caravan, I'm leaving Clearwater around 7am. Pm your phone number. I do have to stop at I-4 and OBT for about 2 mins. I should be in an out. It is literally right off the exit.

Awesome event. It was my first one. I think I'll plan to try and make the races next time. Great time nonetheless. Saw some old friends and met some new ones. Good times. I'll try and post some pics tonight.
Great hanging out with you too Harris!!! Sorry I missed your call Sat Night
Crappy camera phone pix

I bet Ricky took some good pics. He had his 15 pound Channel News 9 SLR with him
They take such great pics, but it has got to get old lugging that thing around all day. I guarantee he got some great action shots on the track with that camera. My camera phone has been downloading for the past 20 mins with all the shots I took there and at FOS. God I hope they look better than Racerblvd's

Drive was fun and it was great to see old friends like Rob (with the homeless shirt on
) Ricky, Eric and all the rest... We need to get together more often... Maybe a Party at the beach house Rob? Hint Hint....
LOL.
It was great meeting you guys, but I'm sorry that I didn't get a chance to drive at all with you, I did however have fun going home (let's see..Dodge Charger SRT8, Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Cayman S, a C5 'Vette, and a few various Benzies all took it hard...pillow bitters!) but no serious competition. I had a little surprise, I had filled up with race gas before driving up (it's like Crack for cars) but I don't know who liked it more... me or the GT3. I took several (hundred) great shots from the races today, but I have to sort through them all, resize and post some of them. I'll add a couple and you can tell me what you think. Below are representatives from each race:
Group 5

Another Group 5, Great race, Patrick Long in the Miller car took the race.

Group 4 Best race of the day, like 10 lead changes until a spin to avoid contact gave it away.

Group 3 Huge field, but a run away victory.

Group 2 Great race, but unfortunately there was contact (pictures coming)

And last but not least Group 1, BTW that's Hurley Haywood in the Brumos 59

SWATDOC, you were close to where I was by looking at your pictures. I just got home so it will be a day or so before I post some of mine.
And Yes, group three was boring; but Leh is a damn fast driver.
The 917 vs the 908 was a GREAT race loved every second of it.
