Also, what do I need to know about parking and tickets. The website leaves much to be desired.

+1 on that, I hope that we can purchase tickets/parking once we get there. Where and when would you like to meet? I plan on being there all day Saturday, and maybe Sunday too. It would be great to get a group photo with us and our cars, I'll be bringing my wide angle lens should the opportunity arise.

 

We can pick a time and a place, but how the hell are we going to know who each other are?

I was thinking maybe after lunch sometime. 2pm? Is there a landmark we can pick that will be easy to find?

I am still a go for Sat. But not sure as of right now what time I am leaving the house. My wife is staying home so my co-pilot will be my daughter.
The weather is still iffy right now. I can not see my friend driving either of his cars to Daytona if the weather is not perfect. I have another neighbor that might be tagging along as well....he is a lurker on here and has a Speed Yellow 2003 x50.

I would like to catch up to some 6speeders at RR but I do not plan on leaving the Speedway once there...too much to see in one day.

As far as tickets go....you will be able to buy tickets at the gate when you arrive. They are supposed to be parking cars by model in the infield. If I remember correctly....I bought a ticket right from my car window before pulling through the tunnel into the infield.
