Anyone here in Chin motorsports or Hookedondriving?
I joined Chin motorsports about a year ago, and never registered to a track day, or went to see one.
Also since the track days in Chin get packed more than a month before the track day itself, I found hookedondriving, which also offer track days in FL only without a membership required.
Is anybody here in a member in Chin or went to a hookedondriving track day? It would be nice to hear a personal experience from someone, and in case I decide to go it would be cool to drive in a group to an event!

I've attended Homestead with Chin quite a few times. They have 2 run groups, novice/intermed solo and advanced solo/instructor. Lots of track time and good fun, I may sign up for Sat, Feb 26 Homestead event. No Novice slots open for that date though, if u have DE experience u can sign up as a provisional solo. I believe u have to make contact with them.

I will contact them and see if anyone didn't pay for the novice class.
Do you get to drive fast even in the novice class? Because I know there is no passing there in general.
Well u can push, u will be required to have an instructor ride along. His/her job will be to make sure ur safe with everyone else on a hot track. There is passing with a point by but only on the straights. The fun is also getting ur driving line right and braking zones consistent. Ull only get faster as u become a better driver on track as I'm sure u know.

If u sign up as a prov solo they will require an instructor to sign u off as intermediate solo qualified...familiar with flags and corner stations, driving line, traffic awareness ect..

I'm going to be in Homestead this weekend for Chin (either Sat or Sun) as a photographer, so whoever will be there I'll update afterward the link where you can see pictures from there.
