Bugatti ...... French?
Although the Bugatti family set up shop in the Alsace region, the family is Italian from Milan. Ettore was born in Italy and all his ancestors as well. Does this really belong in a French classification, just cause the shop was set up there? The alsace region was actually German at the time and is currently owned by Volkswagon. So the arguement can also be made that it is a german car under the same notion that it is French. I feel by far this is an Italian vehicle and being wrongly represented here.

Your arguement/point of view has merit, as Nissans made in Tennessee are still Japanese, as least based on my rules. Then again, the French need some fame in life other than just that tower thing they always brag about. This Forum is not the first to label the Bug as a Frenchie thing, as everyone else does so.

Bugatti is a mix
Hi, Bugatti is a mix of Italian, French and German.
Start in Germany from an Italian (Ettore), then in French, from '87 to '95 in Italy and then in French but by German
I live near the ex Bugatti factory...
