Veyron Spotted

I was out one night and I saw this Veyron. What a beast of a car this thing is. Ive seen it around a couple times before. I actually got to sit inside and its really nice (not trying to make things up for credibility). I just thought I share the pics I took with my phone. The car seems to be driven often since it has 11k miles on it. Enjoy

Did you get surprised by the size? I thought it was going to be 1/2 x bigger than what it was. EVERYTHING about that car scream ultra high end materials, finish, power and luxury.

I don't "like it" as in I will never save pictures of it on my computer or even hang a picture of it in the garage, but my respect for the Veyron is just endless. What a car. What a statement by VAG.

Yeah I was a little surprised by the size. You would think its a big car with all the power and technology it has but its not. The inside it really nice too. The materials are the best of the best.

Oh I forgot to mention that the sound from the exhaust is really nice. It has a deep rumble with the sounds of turbines.

You can never go wrong with a quad turbo car . That sticker price is pretty hefty though I could never justify spending that much on four wheels and four turbos though. I would hate to see what a clutch or and semi major service would run on a car like that.

300.000 sounds like too much, but it's the highest maintenance car I know of... I think I read somewhere that the tires need changing after every top speed run ( like that's gonna happen for an owner).

Automobile magazine editors make the Veyron sound like it's going to be driven daily and aggressively. So they provide the public the cost to maintain vs. an actual survey how often the owners drive the Veyron.

I bet majority of the Veyron owners (mostly car collectors) will not even put 1k miles on it. Sure it was built for speed, but for a million bucks, the Veyron just became a car collector's dream.

Exclamation

if you're easy with the throttle there's no reason why the tires wouldnt last as long as they do on a 997TT for example. Also, as tire technology gets better, i'm sure tires will come down in price. I would imagine that the Veyron has an uncommon size, but pretty soon a lot of high end sports cars, like the 991 Turbo will require tires rated for 400kmh. Heck, even now the cheaper manufacturers that makes tires like the Exclaim UHP are capable of 300kmh -- and they have great tread wear!
