ssc is just hype they never come close to what they say they are going to do or propose to do its kind of sad

 

Isnt the Veyron limited to 253mph due to tires? Otherwise, it could have gone faster?

 

its never really been tested it did that 253 run on top gear but to really do it u need a few passes and quantitative (did i spell that right?) data to get the average will result in about the same. it might beable to go faster if done right.

 

Veyron is still the fastest PRODUCTION vehicle in the world. Anyone can break speed records, but to do it off a production line with warranty and meet all federal standards/requirements is one hell of a feat.
