Pics of updated garage

I finally fixed up the extra garage space. Mainly used for parking/ storage. I'm new on this site but got a lot of information and ideas from here. If it wasn't for this forum the garage would of probally stayed the same!

The cabinets and display cases are from Ikea (to keep things within budget...it's a garage). The display cases are a perfect size for the models and are only $100 each. The stone wall is made from a manufactered veneer which looks pretty real and goes up in " half bricks". The floor is made from 18" Racedeck tiles. Trial and error but you can do this in a weekend if you had the right tools. Thanks for the positive comments.

They look awesome, and it even looks like they could be built into the wall!

Ikea actually has some decent looking glass cabinets that can be used for display cases.

We're currently shopping around at auctions where commercial displays are being sold, as we have a couple hundred models to display, so we need a big wall unit basically.

Could do a mix of Wall cabinets in parts of the garage, mixed with normal glass display cases...only problem is they would need more than the one top light.

I can't reply to PM (I need 15 posts) so I'll answer the question here. The stone wall material was purchase at a local building supply store ( I think you can special order through Home Depot). It's about $5.50 a square feet. The wall you see required about 70 square feet. Pretty easy to install, you do need a wet saw to cut the stone.

Looks cool, really like the stone just feel like it is in need of something to break it up. Maybe a poster, tv or something just my thoughts. Really cool never seen a garage with such an idea before thanks for sharing.

I agree. The garage is not finished yet. I still have not decided what to put on the walls yet.
