Thanks for all the kind comments, everyone.
Jetta...I have a brick exterior on the two side walls, and an insulated garage door. There is one shared wall with the house. I used fiberglass on the exterior walls, blown cellulose on the ceiling, and installed radiant heating under the floor.

Great transformation man, I wish I could do that to my garage 
... but the ugliest garage in the world is my garage so yours had to be the second ugliest
