currently have a 3 car and looking to get another toy. I think my wife will let me park it in the house if I can get it in the house. We hardly use our living or dining room.

Has anyone ever parked the toy in the house. Now that is truely a piece of art

Do it!!!!!!! Nothing would be cooler, but one thing I've seen done to keep the possible odors out is to put up a glass "wall" around the area that is sealed, with a sealing glass door.

There is one I've seen that has a lift in the basement that pulls a black 360 into a glass encased floorless room directly above it with smoking chairs around the glass.

That would be the best of both worlds IMHO. Keep us posted on what you do, hell even post up how you plan on doing it, what type of garage door to put up etc.

only problem that i see is how easy is it to get it in and out of the dining room?
you'd be destroying your door frames every time when you go over it to bring it in the dining room...
idk how your house is set up but just curious.

if that's not an issue, i'd give it a try!

Wow, I love the first one. Now you've got me thinking about opening up my dining room to the garage with a glass wall to look at the Porsches.... my wife is going to hate you!

I used to live in a "not so great" neighborhood for about a year while I was in college at UGA. I parked my bike in the living room. And in the apartments I lived in before that, they were better but I still brought the bike in the dining room.

I have parked my ducatis (detailed to perfection) in my dining room during the winters when I was younger. I am either getting too old or too lazy to do that anymore.

A car would be too much hassle in my part of the country, since most parts of the living area are framed over basement areas. Wouldn't park a car on that.

Now I could go for the glass wall into the garage. Good idea.

I thought about this as well. I use most of my 3 car garage and if I get another toy, debated converting the den that is just behind my garage into a car showcase with rotating display since it has a big glass window facing the front.

Does your house have a concrete slab or does it have wood beams with a crawl space below?

I like the idea! If you have the space and a large enough entrance, I say go for it. Maybe add some track lighting above the car area with a dimmer switch. Post up some pic's if you pull it off.

Is it safe to assume you don't have any kids running around the house lol? Otherwise it might be safer back in the garage!
