I'm building a home with a 3 car garage. I want the ceiling high enough to accomidate a lift in the center stall but the ceilings they normally do around here are 8-9 feet. I'm explaining to my builder that I want a vaulted ceiling in the garage sort of like this:



I'm having a hard time getting this to work with a single garage door on the left and double garage door on the right. I'm thinking of 3 single garage doors with the two sides going along the wall and the center going up at a steep angle. However, the builder isn't sure the garage is wide enought to accomidate 3 single garage doors and two small walls between them like this:

























Anybody have any thoughts on how I can make this work.

Ask some other builders or tear it down and build a new one. Hard to judge on here with some pictures of what you have.
