For various reasons, a garage makeover that could include a lift isn't in the offing, but I have a great big RV pad from former owner that could easily accommodate a lift. Just starting out on the concept, but thinking one of the surface mounted, basic lifts that scissor up 3-4 feet...enough to swap out the tires and get under in a pinch.

Not looking to spend a mint and must be able to survive, outdoors, in the mild California climate, low profile and not likely to anger the wife as an eyesore. Suggestions?
