Great addition! The inside finish is always the slowest part. What type of cabinets are you installing? Racedeck will look great as well, make sure you talk to them about the expansion before you get everything in so you don't have to take everything back out to let the floor expand. That is the only thing that I didn't care for about racedeck. Why did you do asphalt when pavers would have looked so good?

Thanks. I'm doing wood cabinets made by a contractor friend.

I went with asphalt because pavers aren't snow removal friendly. They're easily replaced, but with the extreme temp differences we get, they tend to heave, resulting in snow removal equipment clipping the edges. Asphalt expands and contracts really well comparatively.

Well, that and the fact that it is RIDICULOUSLY more expensive.
