QuickJack 3500 or 5000?

How are they working out?
Hi guys,
I'm about to pull the trigger and order the new Quickjack 5000SLX but wanted to see if anyone had anything negative to say about it.
I own a 2002 GT2 and my primary purpose for this product will be so I can keep the car raised during longer storage times (avoiding flatspot issues).
Thanks!

As far as your planned use, not sure how long you can keep them on the hydraulics, but certainly you can use the locking bars. But I'm not sure if these jacks were designed for long term storage. You may want to ask Ranger/Bendpak and keep us posted. I'm also curious.

It is approximately 54.5" on my 996. The technical specs on the Quickjack 5000slx shows range of 31.5"-60". I'm not so concerned about fitment issues since I've seen a few pics with it... it was more for how I plan to use it (lifted position on a locking bar for extended periods of time).

I got a 5000xl 110 v. It works well so far. I have lifted the car a dozen or so times playing with it. The car is setting on there for winter now. I bought 4 hockey pucks to use along with the blocks that are supplied. The kit comes with every thing you need to get it going other than 2 qts of ATF.
Shipping crating:
Parts basically all you have to do is put these on the lines and hardware:
unit assembled: make sure you run it up and down some before using it. Also in a cold garage it does not like to go down unless there is weight on it.
with the car on it:
with the suv kit extensions:

Love quick jacks
Been investigating Jacks for my 991 Porsche C2S.. as well as other cars
Don't have the space for a 2 post, and I like the Max Jack but, my garage slab probably doesn't meet it's safety requirements for the studs/Bolts. Probably also a bit more trouble than I'd prefer for occasional tire, brake etc work..
I like the QuickJack 3500 or 5000 as it seems very portable and I can store away.
However, from a couple of comments I saw, the QuickJack has a span for the rubber bumpers of only 50.5" which apparently makes it unsuitable for many 911's.. The comment I saw was a 997 needed 54" minimum between jackpoints. I'm also assuming the 991 is similar (haven't measured yet).
Anyone have any experience with the QuickJack and Porsches?

Quickjack price
I was going to order one from Costco after I move to a new place since they had the most competitive price which was $999 and just checked Costco.com and it says $1199. Do they normally have its price up and down like this?
where would be the best place to buy a Quickjack you think?
