Garage holds heat after Epoxy floor ?

Hey garage guys,

a month ago i had my garage floors epoxied (looks fantastic)

but now the garage seems to be twice as hot than it use to be, as if the epoxy floor is holding heat. (or reflecting the heat)
Was the bare concrete floor before breathing or absorbing the heat?

it it my imagination?

i was going to epoxy the garage in another house we own, however now im second guessing myself.

does epoxy floors some how hold heat or increase the heat in a garage compared to a concrete floor?

Thanks in advance

I treated several of my garages with epoxy. The answer should be "no".
Some of the epoxies, esp the water based ones, will heat up while being mixed/activated. That effect should disappear within hours.
Has anything else changed around your garage ? Maybe some better weather sealing around the doors ? Or was your old slab damp before it was covered (wouldn't recommend application anyhow in a damp environment) ?

I just completed my main house garage :
