Im having some issues with my builder on how the door will open if I have a car on the lift and one below.

My ceilings are only 11.5 ft high, so I must use a low clearance 2 post lift.
A high-lift garage door may resolve your problem.

Ordered a backyard buddy yesterday. Will take pics of the whole process. Will be a nice winter project.

Having my garage door moved up, with a side mounted motor next week.

Wow you bought some great lifts for very good prices. How are you liking them? Sorry for taking soooooo long to post pictures of ours but here it is plus some pictures of our new OTC StrutTamer for safely compressing coilovers. Also, since I assume you’re a fan of P Cars, (well who isn’t?) thought I’d through in a picture of a gorgeous 911 Turbo I saw at the SEMA Show in the HRE Wheels Booth.

Gary,
Nice setup! Thanks for sharing your pix. Is that the RA model? How do you like?
Silversurfer's and mine came in last week. Haven't seen his and had to store mine for now since my garage rebuild is not at the point for the lift install.

Glad you like it. Yes, it's the RA version and I'm very happy with it. The RA version is the way to go, with these arms and adjustable height pick ups with polymer surfaces make it a dream to lift lowered, short wheelbase cars with out damaging the underside. Also, with the adjustable height pick ups, you can thread them up to meet the pick-up points of the car so that the lifting arms don't hit the side skirts of the car. Any other questions, ask away.

If you want to actually work on the cars and have the room 2post lifts just cannot be beat!

My setup, Alot of other people on here obviously have more money to throw at a nicer setup but I use mine day in and out! and its at my house.
