Well it's snowing here in Chicago, so it's nice to see someone is working outside. You may not need heating coils in the floor but make sure the floor is thick enough to support the lifts (4" min @ 3000 PSI)
If it were me, I'd go with tile over Race Deck -- or the more rubber-like tiles instead of the hard plastic tiles

Shoot me your address and I'll send over a sample - sales@carguygarage.com

looking to do a 4 post lift. so the 9ft hight should be enough.
more progress over the weekend

this is stage one of the project will be doing another addition to the other side of the house along with the front being bumped out. Once i have time i'll try to convert my dwg files to jpeg of the entire project i drew up. Just a little back group. Then entire adition will be wired with cat6e and 2 drops of fiber from the basement. will also have 1 lcd tv put in. during the summer cars will be removed and will have F1 parties in the garage. PS the car in the picture is being put back into storage had to take it out since we got 50's over the weekend. lol

You guys are moving along fast. You might want to throw in a couple CAT5's while you've got the walls open, then you can extend out your HD signal to the LCD in the garage over a Gefen box --

You'll need 220v for the lifts too. Keep the pictures coming, cool project.

i've used the gefen boxes at some of my clients setups. works great. I have 2 media server 1 current in operation with about 1.5tb of storage and the other will have about 2.0tb of storage . will take pix of the server rack (which will be moved into the garage later on). also going to do audio in the entire house currently only half of the house is audio. the entire house will be a "smart house". currently looking into systems from Leviton-Vizia and a few others.
Cool, what type of media servers do you have? I saw a product demo of http://www.kaleidescape.com -- those things are insane. I've got a home theater, projector, etc etc... but no media server yet.
currently using j.river http://www.jrmediacenter.com/
looking at different options currently i heard good things about xlobby too.
