I had the painters use regular old paint. They did half the wall white and half gray then they taped it off and put a red stripe on it. The checked border is wallpaper I put on which I ordered off a website. I'll get the website address later today.
The flooring is from Costco. You have to order it from the website though because they don't keep it at the store. The flooring just snaps together. I put some cheap padding under it which I purchased from Home Depot.The padding is the type used under Pergo type flooring.

I ordered the checkered border from the collector connection.com. It's listed under wall borders, murals and more as the auto racing checkered flag border 5 yards for 11.99.
