looks great - really really shiny!

 

When you paint and clear the floor....how are you painting it? With a standard large sized roller? (I'd rather ask someone who has done it, instead of a Home Depot employee that may or may not have experience)

Just wondering if this is something I can take on myself.

Yeah I am using a normal roller, not that bad just a little tiring on the arms. I do the front part then the back parts. After the back part is done I do a second coat on the front then hit the back again. (does this sound weird LOL)

I do the same for the clear coat. 2 coats is best. If you want to know what to buy, email me.

 

Looks great! I would've gone slightly lighter than black (or maybe its just weird because i've never seen a black garage floor).

Was it some type of special floor paint?

Not that you would have thought to ask me but I have done several of these and would have helped you out.

I have changed it a few times and probably going to strip it down and do something new this fall but this is one of my favorites.

 

Cool man! The black always sees the tire tracks. When I get back from London I will do the other garage floor to complete it then work on the tile. Should look good

 

Let me know when you get the tile done and I'll get you hooked up with some seal and finish so its all purty.
