Bilstein B16 Damptronic for GT3

I see that there is possible to get Bilstein B16 Damptronic for the GT3/GT3 RS. Is really the Damptronic a upgrade from the stock suspension? I thought the stock was pretty dam good... If the Damptronic is a upgrade, its funny thinking about alle the Carrera's who got a better suspension than the GT3's

Sombody who hase done this change and can report the difference?

What you will find is a bit more rebound keeping it from bouncing and pitching as much...I went for the more serious type of Bilsteins Damper's from Cargraphic which allowed me to go with more spring rate.

couldn't agree more... The stock set up is so good that unless you do a more serious conversion or go to motons etc... I don't see it as mch of an upgrade

I appreciate that we can always count on an honest product evaluation from SharkWerks rather than a simple "buy it from me" recommendation.

The GT3 suspension is a coil-over suspension.

The carrera suspension is not a true coil-over, that is why many upgrade to the bilsteins.

Like Shark said, it is a tiny bit of a upgrade over stock, but unless you are going full track, then like Motons or JRZ.... then its best to just stay stock, they are more than capable.

Couldn't have said it better. Honestly the coil overs on the RS/GT3 are nicely set up/dampened and all it really needs is a good alignment. If you're tracking the car heavily and want to start ripping that stuff out in favor or a tripple adjustable Moton/JRZ set up ok... but you might want a cup car too:P
