Crossed over to the dark side F Car

The weak dollar took my 73 RS. The money was too good to pass up.
Crossed over to the F car side.

Anyone else done the same. Do not get much feed back from the F car guy's.

I pick the car up next week. Looking foward to driving the car like a Porsche.
I hope it holds up.

Opposite Action

Hello:

I've been a Ferrari guy since the 90's - My testarossa was silver/bordeaux (It grow on you more with time - My TR went to fund my Titanium/Bordeaux 550).

Congrats! It is totally different experience than a Porsche.

That 360 modena looks absolutley stunning, very very clean judging by the pictures you have provided. Enjoy it in best of health and drive safely, such a highly desirable and a future classic colour combination.

The first car is great. It is offered by a well-known dealer here in Germany. The RS 3.8 were great cars. You still see some on tracks here and they are damn quick, especially with some mods.

sad for the RS.
People are paying so much for them now, and prices are still climbing. How much did you sell it for?

I think you should add this to your collection:

Come on my friend, only 55 made... that is a must have
Have you been talking to Thomas Schmitz?

I have been looking for a road going version of the 3.8 RS or a Turbo S lightweight.

The Dollar is too weak to pull it off. If we can recover a bit It is next on my list.

Thanks for reminding me

I traded in my 1996 355GTB for a 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage...which broke three times in two weeks and I got rid of it (dealer buy-back).

I missed having a sports car so I bought a new 2007 GT3 (previously owned a 993 and a PCA 911 GT3-S race car). GT3 and 355 are similar in torque and HP delivery (higher revs are better), and the GT3 is ultimately a much faster car (as it should be since it's using 2007 technology vs 1996 technology), but I find myself missing the 355. The 355 was slower on the track, but was better balanced and more fun IMHO. Spartan and without any driver aids, and a much more visceral experience...and better sound, too!

I'm waiting (it's going to be a long wait) for F430 prices to come down from their current stupid levels and then I'm going to flip the GT3 (and a lot of cash, I'm sure) for a F430....well, that's my current thinking.

Anyway, enjoy the 360...great car! And wonderful color combination.

I will leave the details to the new owner.

But I made enough to pay for all but $30K of the ferrari.

I can't see the cars going much higher. Time will tell.
