Suspension noise

I tracked my GT3 for the first time today. I took it pretty easy because it was my first time on the track with the car and I want to preserve my PCCBs until I change over to steel.

Anyway, heading home I noticed that when hitting a small bump at slow speeds there is a "knock" and a "rattle" that I feel coming from up front. I cannot replicate the noise by bouncing the car up and own or by shaking the wheel. Any ideas before I start any disassembly??

Karl

Have you had your front wheels off yet??? Sometimes the dealers forget to remove the plastic spring spacer from shipping. It prevents the spring from fully compressing...If you hit a good bump, you get a good bang sound from this...Don't ask me how I know....If it's not that, probably the sway bar has loosened as Slothman suggested

Same as Metalsolid says, check the sway bars. There have been a few reports of the mounting bolts loosening a bit after some track time.

There, now I said it too...

Karl, should you get a chance... pop out the front pads and post a picture for comparison. Here are mine after taking it easy for two days at the track...
