That price for the RS lip is just the lip, You need to buy the little RS attchment also or else you will have holes in the lip. The small lip that attaches to the lip is almost 300 bucks alone!

Once they get beat up - just get creative and have fun with them.

Are you buffing out and painting the destroyed spoiler or are you painting the new one? I kinda thought there should be some way to buff these babies out and replace them. It is usually surface scratches.

spoiler

You have to buff the spoiler with steel wool or fine to medium sandpaper. In terms of paint, I have found two options: Kyrlon acyrilic paint ($3) or PepBoys paint for auto trim. These two options worked perfect. Another option if you just want to improve the look of a beat up spoiler is to sand and then re-coat with Krylon Black "rubberized" paint used to coat metal tools. It works great and is very resistant to further marks and scrapes.

You shouldn't have to replace the RS attachment every time. It unbolts from the main spoiler, which is the same for the GT3 and for the RS, and you can just replace the main spoiler.
