How much downforce do the GT3 & GT3 RS rear wings generate?

I was watching this TG video ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMzBz...eature=related

... and it got me wondering, how much downforce do the GT3 and 3RS wings generate? Any ideas? I'm just curious ... it's not like I really need to know.

Also, from the video, that's not much of a wing they put on the Koenigsegg. I bet Stiggy made up the bulk of the 2.6s gain by driving the car better as opposed to all of it coming from the addition of the rear wing as TG would have you believe. Any thoughts? I don't have any experience racing downforce cars so I don't have a feel for how much a wing can affect the balance of the car. I'd enjoy hearing from those with experience racing downforce cars.

I can't comment on the df of the GTE/rs wings, but in response to asking how much force that little wing could generate...

have you ever held your hand out the window at say 70mph and then cupped it very slightly? lots of pressure. think of it at 170mph all across the back deck.

True, but he wasn't driving 170mph on the road course. Some of those turns where the added downforce allegedly helped were medium speed turns at best.

I owuld venture to guess that the big problem corner is about 70-80 mph while follow through is about 110+

Its physics, people are led to believe that the wings create downforce by having air push it down, that is not the case. In fact what they do is very similar to an Airplane wing but upside down. Basically the shape of the wing creates more pressure on the top and that pressure ultimately pushes the wing down.

Yes, the pressure differential that results from an airfoil splitting the airflow into two separate streamlined paths of different lengths (Bernoulli) is in fact what creates the lift or downforce depending on if the longer path is on top or bottom, respectively.

But the real question was, does anybody happen to know how much downforce the GT3 wing creates? Obviously speed dependent, but I'd be curious to know at any speed. It appears that nobody here knows. No biggie, as I said, I was just curious.
