GT3 Exhaust bypass?

I saw a clip on the web with two porsches side by side. One was untouched and the other had some type of bypass. Each one rev'd with the sport button on and off. The one with the bypass sounded really mean for not having to go aftermarket. I have a VW R32 and there is a bypass by pinching the line leading to the exhaust flapper which is engaged after a few thousand RPM. Is this the same thing on the GT3?
Thanks

pretty similair indeed, it's engaged with the sport button and dependant upon revs and throttle input That was the video from here: http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=153
