2004 GT2 finally hit $120K range

I am not trying to be pessimistic, but while it is a good deal relative to its original MSRP, as an investment it probably isn’t such a good purchase. Considering it will be out of warranty soon, and you can pick up a new GT3 or Turbo for that price it doesn’t make sense for the average buyer to pick up the car at this price.
+1.

I'am hoping that you will see a slight increase in price for the 996 GT2"s when the 997GT2 come out. The reasoning behind this will be the pricing of the 997 models.est. 240-250k after dealer mark-up.

7 day ban from posting on any Porsche forum.

OK I will bite. Why spend so much on an 04 when you can get an 03 for considerably less. I know that fewer were produced, but any other differences?
At that kind of money I would prefer a 997 GT3 with a tune and exhaust.

I would like to know what kind of pricing from an expert? how much? I bet it won't sell at the buy it now price. what do you think?

The buy it now price is the lowest I have ever seen (and I am extremely familiar with the GT2 market) for a car (04 or 05) with under 5000 miles. It will sell in the mid $120's if not for the buy it now price.
$95-$105 is for 02's or 03's with miles. (Which by the way is the best Porsche bang for the buck out there right now) They did not make many GT2's, as you know, and the prices will firm up soon.

BTW that is an amazing deal!

I made a bid up to $122k a couple days ago and the reserve was not met. That was the max premium I would have paid over a similar low mileage 02/03. I paid $109k for my stock 4k mile 02 with GT3 seats (over a year ago when prices were a bit higher) and I've yet to see a GT2 that was as in as perfect shape as that car was! John R, if you're still on here, you took perfect care of that car!
I would assume the reserve is real close to the buy it now price, if not the same. IMHO, $120k would be a good deal for that car, anything over, well it's up to you!
