2002 GT2 - what's it worth
That's a steal in my opinion. The last (and only) GT2 I saw going for under 100k had like 31k miles on it. I think the 110 neighborhood is fairer to your friend. Someone else will probably have a more accurate resolution in terms of price point but that's REALLY low.

Hello all. I will try to insert a graph of GT2 sales prices I have been collecting. But it looks like that car could bring closer to 100K with the low miles. Look at attachment. Of course the numbers are continuing to slide down over time, slowly.

I paid $110 at a dealer for a CPO 2002 with just over 10k about five months ago.
Happy with the deal I got, though I'll admit it's frustrating to see now if I'd held out a little longer I could have gotten a better deal.
Still, it's an awesome car - I just need to learn to stop looking at cars after I buy one.

Interesting view points. From my perspective, they were dropping last year. About 8 month's ago, I noticed a upswing, especially for very nice, original, low mile editions. These, really clean and original cars were creaping into the 120 range. Not remarkable considering their rarity. They really represent the evolution without the PSM which takes away from the visceral experience, not to mention the addl performance. Based on the 997 version going off at 220 (out the dealer door), I would believe they will be sought after.
PSM removes a tremendous amount of "edgy" persona that created the initial persona of a Porsche. havefundriveporschetakechances-Mark
OMT-many of the cars in the 90 range have issues, as such, ebay is not the place to take chances.

The reality that the 997 GT2's were commanding 40K mark ups over MSRP reversed the slide in GT2 prices. GT2's really are supercars, amazing looks and performance that beats, as a package pretty much anything out there.
Oak you are way off the mark. The one for sale on e-bay for 88K was wrecked w/ severe frame damage.
The graph was really interesting and mirrors my own informal tracking.
