hey luis, I've been running it on my car and it's actually something that Mike@EVO and Garrett@GIAC spent a good deal of time on tuning with our bypass on. The software is tuned for our system. They got rid of a couple of "flat" spots if you will and although it's hard to "feel" (especialy coming from the turbo world) 15hp or so the extra 200rpms is nice too

We have a complete system in development right now.

It will consist of equal length headers, 200 cell catalyst our propietery cross over center section and sport mufflers.

We will also have an inconel version available for those of you who must have the best of the best.


Obviously check out our sport center section which is different than a standard muffler bypass both in design and function and yes this system does work with the GIAC flash.

I have the Cargraphic Kit 6. Pricy, but the sound is amazing. I'm going to try and get some sound bites and post.

That is one impressive looking system.

 

Do any of you with these systems have trouble with too many db's at the track?
A lot of the tracks in the northeast have sound level restrictions depending on the time of year or week.

 

This is an issue in the UK. I hear that turndown tips are an effective solution and that a couple of vendors are soon to release products.

Another potential solution is a remap that keeps the exhaust valves fully closed unless the sport button is pressed. Again I understand that certain tuners are looking into to this.

 

Hey Jeff how are you? I will tell you the header design of the QuickSilver system looks awesome.
I am really happy w/ the FVD headers, they make great power and sound fanatastic.
I have an RS which is stock and I'm looking for an exhaust. I will tell you that FVD has royally ****ed me as a loyal customer. I have debated their(FVD) product against all the doubters. I will no longer speak out for their product. From a business standpoint they have ****ed me and I will never forgive them for it. From now on their product is **** as far as I'm concern.

I would love to see dyno graphs of stock 997GT3/RS against the 997GT3/RS with the QuickSilver headers. A direct comparison is what I need to see.

Anyway as far as I'm concerned FVD can go to hell, as a matterof fact I will be removing the system once I am convinced of another system.

I am a man that has served and fought for this country and loyalty really means something to me and it is not taken lightly. FVD seems to only know betrayal, what a great company!!!!!!

If FVD was the last company in the world I will never buy from them again.

I apologize for the rant, but I'm pissed.

Everyone do not buy FVD!!!
