Don't mean to hijack the thread, but I'd like to add some others to the list if anyone can comment. I may 'upgrade' as well once more info is out there.

4. FVD
5. Manthey
6. Quicksilver
7. Supersprint
8. Cargraphic

Well here we go again.
The list is long but several of the companies have not released the product and pricing is still unknown. Some have also not released performance gains.
My GT3 runs the FVD headers / race cats and exhaust. I have substantiated my power gain claims w/ dyno proven results.

http://picasaweb.google.com/whitneyd.../DynoResults03

http://multimedia.fvd-web.com/FVD111...11199750RS.wmv

This is w/ hardware only. I am waiting for the GIAC ECU software tune.
I want to see another tuner produce these claims for $4000.

Gentlemen I'm not going to debate this anymore. This system makes as much or more rwhp than any competitor. The hp gains are equal to the Farnbacher/Loles 10K system and the sound is outstanding.

Thank you and good day to all,
GT3Ranger...Juan

Juan,
I thought the FVD had the software for tuning.

luiscarlos that Farnbacher system sure looks beautiful and impressive. 10K is agood chunk but I'm sure the others, ie. Manthey and SS will be equally expensive. It goes w/ the territory.
Enjoy your selection process.

GTS-R in my opinion I'd bag the FVD software flash.

You're missing one....I have the GMG Racing center section straight pipes, easy bolt on, and fabulous sound.

I recommend them highly, great finish and did I mention the sound ?

Here's a link to the install I did on the 997 GT3. I took these pipes off when I traded it in, and they will soon be on the RS.

I'm considering an exhaust upgrade on my 3 as well, would be great to see a back-to-back comparison of all the exhausts in post # 3 (+GMG)....one day, one dyno, one car with all the exhausts interchanged (I bet the vendors would hate that idea !)

OK, I can't wait to see how this plays out...I had been planning on going with the A.W.E. system this spring, but I am willing to hear what others have to say.

Does anyone sell turned down tips that bolt on to the stock exhaust?

If so does it meaningfully reduce the db's so you can go on quiet trackdays?
