Bimota is infamous around these parts
My understanding is the centers can not be made of carbon fiber due to heat generated by the brakes, thats why dymag have mag centers.

Hey Seung, do you live in Omotesando? I was there last week visiting the temple in Harajuku. I tried to get some ramen at that famous place (can't remember the name), but it was too busy.

Remember a set of lug nuts weigh more than 6lbs.

... 「DRY CARBON PROJECT」のオールドライカーボンホイールではないでしょうか??!重さ何と2.7Kg...
their claimed weight is 2.7 kg...
2.7 kg is 5.9 pounds.

my nonbeliever friends, stick with your dymags.
but i'm going with this one.

guys i believe it, the reason dymags weight is 16lbs is due to the face i have taken dymags apart and the barrels weight was 2lbs ...so if this wheel is full carbon even the face it can weigh 6lbs its not impossible ..i just sent them an email to see target pricing and specs ...

Based on this, the dymags should be far superior to a metal rim of the same weight due to the weight distribution advantage of only having 2 lbs at the periphery.

with that dry carbon project, i thought the center had to be magnesium to deal with the heat from the brakes

If you look closely at the first photo Seung posted, the wheel on the right is sitting on a scale which reads "2.76" (presumably) kilograms. That is just sick.

Weds has been making badass wheels since the early 80's in Japan - wouldn't surprise me that these were legitimately 6lbs....insane.
