Who makes this wheel? If it's a Dymag it is not 6 lbs.
I have Dymags on the GT3 and have been fine for street use. Now you must apply some level of common sense and watchout what you go over.
The fronts(19x9) are 16 lbs and rears(19x12) are 18 lbs. The 6 lbs claim is pretty steep, hell the forged center should be more than that.

16lb fronts and 18lb rears are CRAZY!

If it really is 6lbs, I don't believe it will hold up. A general rule of thumb is that properly designed carbon fiber composite part can weight about 1/3 less than a properly designed aluminum part....I can't imagine a 10lb aluminum wheel that would ever hold up.
Hey guys I've posted these pics before but some may have not seen them so here are some pics:

I apologize for all the pics but I don't know how to delete and the wife was not around.
The most noticeable improvement from the Dymags is the braking. So much less pedal effort needed. The car had other performance mods done relatively simultaneously (headers/race exhaust, LWFW and cup suspension) so acceleration and handling are hard to isolate to the Dymags.
I will say I love these wheels. I really believe they are worth it, not just for looks but performance. Ask Fabryce @ GMG, he has telemetry from the track and precise proof of the wheels performance value.
For giggles I weighed the GT3 at the track scales 2 weeks ago and w/ 3/4 tank of gas it weighed 3,125 lbs. I guess that's okay.
Cheers guys,
