the pedal placement is perfect on the the gt3's just need to do more threshold braking ... cant really do it on street ( legally) !!! get it to the track and you will fine

adding pedals is like add a strut tower bar to a 997 gt3 ... might help mentaly but serves no real purpose...
typically my students get confused ...i show them its just the toes on the brake pedal and a roll of the foot to blip the throttle... when brake is compressed it evens out with the gas... i am sure the engineers at porsche have laid it all out correctly... you think the test drivers aren't using this method????

Pedal placement is just fine! No different than the rest (997,987)
H/T is an acquired skill and pretty useless to attempt on the street as you are not into the brakes hard enough.

I have ceramics on my RS and find the pedal height perfect on the track. But the brakes are so powerful that I'm not able to heel/toe on the street. I've left mine the way it came.....I want the setup perfect for the track

FWIW-I heel and toe on street and track all the time with ceramics on my RS. Like Trevor Ely, I use the top of my foot for the brake pedal and heel for the throttle. But I have been doing this on 911s for about 20 years...anyway to mash my foot in there...

echoing 930man, you just have to brake much harder and just get over the mental hump. That said, I understand the street driven carbon problem as when I drove a 997tt on the street, I found it difficult to heel/toe without being HARD on the brakes.

One trick I use on the street when very hard braking is unnecessary is I'll wear wide sole tennis shoes rather than my driving shoes. The width of the soles places the right side of the foot at a greater angle so it's making deeper contact with the gas pedal.
