Always wanted to race a porsche, any takes in NY, im from Long Island

 

Hey man racing is illegal. At least that is what I am told. I was told that in NY if you are caught racing they impound and get to keep your car. So I dont think your going to get any porsche owners risking their cars.

 

cmcjo, I agree with you 100% but he will get action there are a lot of guys building Porsches just to drag race, but I think they race for $$$, they want a reward if they are risking their car.

By the way I have a B5 S4. There is no way that pig can hang with me on a road race track.

 

This is going to be fun, all joking aside I think those s4s take to mods rather well? there is one down here in S.F to the tune of 650ish hp, not sure what had to be done to obtain that, other than it is a twin turbo set up. Its always nice when you can call your other car a pig lol lol.

I have both (997gt3 and B5S4) as well - "my" S4 is much faster in a straight line however. That said, even with a Stoptech big brake kit, the heavy S4 pig fried the Motul brake fluid after 7 laps at a short track like Limerock. On a big tracks like VIR, WG or Mosport, the cars are more even.

Hell, my 4200# big turbo'd Allroad is faster than most p-cars in a straight line (yes even 996 911S)

the only audi worth racing against is the R8 and R10, and i am not talking about the street R8's.

I had bigger turbos injectors intercoolers put on the car and it is my sleeper
