They have a good design team, there always pushing the envelope in performance and strength. It's what I wanted them to do 8 years ago. No question they are cutting edge now ! Wheel selection is so important on a light car like the RS. Tires are another issue. They have varying weights between brands and sizes. Light tires like Michelin Cup's help. Steve

On our scale the Porsche Factory 997 GT3 wheels weigh 24 pounds 5 ounces each front and 30 pounds 13 ounces each rear.

Juan, hot off the press. I just came from HRE. Here is the first set of C-90's for my CLK-63 Balck. I will get some close up's soon. They are very detailed with material removed inside the Y spokes and outer base. I went up in tire size. Rides great !

I was able to mount 315's in the rear using Corsa's I'm selling my C-20's in 19". The wheels put on for SEMA were their wheels for display. I think they were 20's. No question 18" wheel offers less rotational inertia. My braking was much better with less pedal effort and shorter stopping distance. Acceleration was improved also but you could really feel the braking improvement. Hard to tell the difference with the C-90's on my CLK-Black. I just put them on this afternoon. They are a very detailed wheel with material removed everywhere it wasen't needed.
