Porsche Carrera GT II
I've seen these rumors. There's nothing from Porsche and I can't find anything from autocar magazine, where the rumor apparently started.
From Motor Trend magazine, May 3, 2006:
Although Porsche managing director Wendelin Wiedeking described the Carrera GT project as a success, a Porsche spokesman in Stuttgart confirmed that a successor model was currently not being planned.

Some time ago I was involved in a discussion on another forum where someone who had been talking to some Porsche engineers at Petit Le Mans, said that one of them had let slip out that Porsche was building a V8 engine for GT racing.
I would not be at all surprised if this is not the car that will take that new engine!

Seeing a grown man cry isn't pretty, think about it.
^^^haha, Im sorry, but I just had to say that SOMETHING cool is coming from Porsche AG and hint that "green" isnt everything in their minds...plus, some very cool developments with the panamera...
Music to my ears!!!
Answer: Probably because car nerds like me are latching on to any and all stories, rumors or dreams pertaining to anything supercar related in an attemp to somehow stem off the tide of the PC CAFE politically correct "green" crowd.
^^^ LOL Well I can appreciate that BUT, for the record that pic and all info pretaining to that pic is 100% false. Just keeping it real my friend, I dotn mind being the barer of bad/real news : )
^^^ Ya, I know all those pictures are fake. I'm just keeping the hope alive...the hope that it gets produced in the first place...and second, it looks better than anything in those pictures. Peace
So this pictures is a fake.
Are there any substantial rumors of the next exotic Porsche.
In my opinion the GT2 and Turbos have gotten so fast is there really a market for a exotic P car?
