Yes, but is it improved enough to compete with Ferrari in the ALMS? We can hope.

Its not the Ferrari's I'm worried about this year. I afraid the 500 hp Vette's and the BMW's will be more than a handful for the RSR's.

Point well taken. IMO, however, I think the entry of those new machines will help the ALMS series far more than another year of Ferrari domination. The real question that interests me most is whether the traditional rear-engined 911 design can continue to be competitive in a racing world dominated by mid-engined cars.
