I've heard that Porsche stopped producing Carrera GT about a while ago. Is that true? If yes, any newer model in sight?

Actually it was Condor yellow, #1261 and it went to our very own CondorCGT right here on this forum. Maybe he'll chime in here.

Really Jaber is a luck guy, I never found out about that as back in 2005 I read on Worldcarfans that the car went to the UAE if memory serves me right but if it went to Jaber well he deserves it because he is an avid car fanatic.

Last produced car was #1270, last delivered car was #1266 due to some special options the owner wished. Car went to Germany.

I believe that extensive re-engineering of the car was required in order for it to meet new safety criteria - hence production was stopped short of the 1500 target. I'm glad that at least ~1280 made it into the hands of enthusiasts.
