Its a learned skill, the first day I drove my car off the lot I took a friend for a ride and did a turn around in a driveway absolutely killed it. within a week I had a spare. Its a consumable part just like brake pads. Just one wheel at a time slow. I am not worried about the chin guard, I am worried about running over a possum in the road that that will be nasty.

in the most recent European Car magazine the Champion Porsche turbo reviewed describes a skid plate that mounts under the front lip. Anyone have more info or experience with this?

1) Learn how to drive
2) Have a spare (Less than $200) in the garage.

for Ferrari or Lambo i can understand since there's no plastic lip spoiler if u scrape u scrape the paint. for Porsche on the other hand the plastic lip is designed for easy replacement once damaged i just don't see a point installing some sore of skid plate onto a disposable lip.

Replaceable item. Between the occasional lip scrape and the school bus screeching brakes. You just learn to get used to it. As well as the rattles and vibrations

couple scrapes are a small price to pay for that driving experience

As usual... I thought this scraping problem was only happening to me.. Now that I see everyone has this problem makes me feel better. With all the scraping I've done in the past few days, I already orderred a new one as spare. What's the point of buying a low car if you're worried it will scrape?
