997 GT3 is low, lower than 996 GT3. actually it's even lower than CGT due to its overhang. yeah just get one for garage then u'll feel alot better.

Interesting... How are you guy's scraping so much? My past 4 car's were SLAMMED, my GT2 is now lower then even stock GT2 height and yet no issues? I think once you get use to driving it a certain way or car's that are low you wouldn't have an issue, approach going in and out of driveways on a crazy angle, you shouldn't have a problem then. Even in Manhattan I didn't scrape.

C4SSS is infamous around these parts
All I can say is that the roads in Beirut are much worse than yours.. Whether hilly or flat... I have gone over some leathal speed bumps. The car starts scrapping before the tires even touch the bump. So there are some roads I have to avoid now!

I recommend you do not remove the front lip.

1) There are the obvious aerodynamic effects that you'll be compromising - it's there for a reason.

2) Even if your car is a garage queen or if you don't drive it fast enough for the aero effects to matter, there's a practical side to having it that I've discovered. Because it sticks out a little further than the front bumper, the painted bumper is protected for those times when you accidentally curb your front end, etc. I just had my splitter replaced because it was in pretty rough shape and the front end is back to looking like new.

3) They're relatively cheap and quick to replace.

4) It will look goofey without the front lip.

talk about low. over the winter i had the car lowered 6/10 corner balanced and a 80/20 track alignment.and new lip installed.soon as i pull out of the shop two roads meet one a tad bit higher than the other and bang scrapeed rite up.oh well but that still sucked.than fine no problem at the track last weekend. on day 2 i swap out my stock 19's for my new set of 18''ccw's,so now i'm another 1/2'' lower still no problem on the track.
so yesterday i go to take a ride down the road and all i can say, is now this car isn't too road frendly any more.

oh well i guess i'll go buy a box of sandpaper

Can you imagine if the lip was color matched? At least the standard black finish camouflages some scuffs.
