No track insurance that makes sense anymore in the NW United States either. A few years ago you could actually insure a car for the track through a couple. I've been told by others you can still get insurance for $140 day not timing and 30 days minimum insured a year. It also carries a $12,000.00 deductible.

 

Do you know any companies that offer this type of insurance? Or could you ask a friend? I'd greatly appreciate any info on this!

Is it true that an engine would cost 40k pounds?

 

I don't know what 40k pounds equates to US but I think that's a bit steep on just the engine.. Most likely a totalled car since it's a 996 GT3. Engines are less than 40k US
