Hands on the Facelifted GT3RS

Hey guys,

Do you think we can get our hands on this car? Put a deposit on it or something? The Facelift GT3RS looks like it's comming late 2009 im guessing.

More power by 30hp? I think. so Its not worth changing for me. Direct injection
but NO PDK for this version of GT3
If I could get one and MSRP then I would think about it but if the dealer play the games they play now with RS
this 997 GT3 I have now WILL be my LAST Porsche. I have been looking for a reason to own a Aston Martin DB9 and this might be it.

I thought that they're not coming out with a new GT3 RS? Wasn't there a post somewhere on here which said that this is the new GT3, and NOT an RS?

The V8 vantage is a great car, I love it.

As several people have mentioned, they are showing a GT3 in the video, not a GT3 RS. I don't know if a new RS version is coming out or not, but we will find out. I actually like the front of the current GT3/GT3RS better than the facelift, but I am biased. More power would be good.

The videos/photos appear to show a narrow body car (ie GT3) with the RS wing.

Judging by how well the current RS sold, I think a successor is pretty much a certainty.

Anyone think Porsche will dump a successful, highly profitable model? Not me.

doesn't look like a widebody C4 chassis to me... I don't see the sideskirts like on the RS, C4/S or TT? More like a narrow body just with the lil' black piece in the rear.

Ever since Aston was bought by ford and now sold to the Indian company the cars have gone downhill. Yes they still look decent but as far as mechanical progression there has been no R&D since the early 2000's.
