brake fluid change
brake fluid change
need DIY info to change fluid .i'm going to get the motive system. i think. i need to know how to do this.also what type of oil ? and how much oil should i buy?some types are sold by the liter and some by the 1/2 ltr.now i have the ate blue stuff in but the last change was last august, and i think its time do this.i'm running in white and have 12 track days this year so far and another 12 or so last year since the last fulid change. with another 28 days planed for this season.
Start with the fluid reservoir empty it with a turkey baster. then buy two bottles of Motul 600. this is a good cheap place to buy. http://www.oneidasuzuki.com/store/pa...ake-fluid.html
Fill the Reservoir with fresh fluid. then go to the Right rear first ( furthest away) Pump up the movtive and bleed the top outside bleeder first, use about 1/2 of the first bottle to make sure you have all the old out of the line then bleed the inside bleeder. ( each caliper has two bleeders on on the outside and one on the inside. do the inside last and you only need to get a small amount out. to get fresh in the back side of the caliper.
then repeat the process LR Rf then LF. should take two bottles using the most on the RR and the least on the left front.
