GT2 has to be the best looking Porsche
on the Autobahn...
Saw a truck on its way to deliver new cars to whoknows where.
Me and my girlfriend coming home from a little trip, cruising on the left lane.
When I saw its GT2's I ,of course
, hit the breaks and pull behind the truck to get a good view as it happens when they where "brand new".
To sum up, very nice 15 min doing 95kmh (which is a joke) and if she would've not said anything I would've stayed behind for the rest of my way.. LOL
Nicest looking p-car! +1

+1. For me its a toss up between the 7 RS and 6 GT2. Each has an extremely strong presence/stance in their own way while retaining a nice sense of elegance so as not to be over bearing (as per OG's post).
BTW: The 3 GT2 is on another level. Always has been, always will be.

it seems Porsche wans the gt2 to be somewhat hardcore but yet refined and civilized.
if you watch the one of the Porsche gt2 official videos. in the first segment you see the gt2 quietly driven in the streets doing its business.
The next part video is followed by the same driver changed to a track outfit and racing the car on the track.
The message is clear. The Porsche is an everyday car in any conditions. Hell one can argue that even a SL or the scud can be everyday but with much flamboyance i suppose. Some jus prefer to be discreet and i guess thats where the subtle styling and noise come to play.
i am sure they were aware of the exhaust note already and one could imagine that they did it deliberately.
It kinda follows the turbo in that regards. refinement over rawness.
Perhaps the gt2 could be label an enhanced turbo more accurately
but then again the gt2 is supposed to be an uncompromising car providing the power the turbo offers and then more and handling the gt3 provides.
why the lack of sound is rather disappointing as this is one of the primary reason that adds to the attractiveness to a car.
Despite this, i think if one looks at a gt2, it is still quite a sight because of its capability and the statement it makes.
A souped up turbo might make more dollar and sense if one is after bhp/dollar but thats not the point compare it to gt2. If so, the NISSAN gtr with just some rather simple ecu remapped and exhaust should suffice and blow alot of supercars away even the CGT i would think. or to be more accurate, we can buy a base model 911 and mod the hell out of it and blow away everything else with alot of change left i would assume
Anyway since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, its quite debatable and personally i wont focus on aesthetics alone
In the end i think the beauty lies in the fact that its a 'GT2' and out of the box is the fastest 911 now and there you have it!
ok just my take dun pick on me haa
Cheers!

if you are talking about looks the funny thing is that, all 997s are the same... except the 2, 2s and the 4 and the 4s. you could just take a 4s and make it LOOK like a gt2
so am going to say
all 997's are the same,
I think however the GT2 has the best looking body kit! (-;
