GT3 VIN # & Production #?

GT3 VIN # & Production #?
There's a discussion on Rennlist that says the GT3 production started with VIN 92061, and you can base your VIN on that to see what # GT3 yours is. Anyone know if this is accurate?
If so, my VIN is 92762, so my GT3 was the 701st produced.
If that's right, maybe I'll get license plate GT3 701 :-)
