How come on the GT3 if you don't get nav the look of the dash is different (no screen), yet on the other carrera models, you get the screen regardless if you order NAV or not.

Weight is a funny thing ... once you start checking whether it's real.
When you put a claimed "light" car on corner scales in front of the owner, you often get priceless faces.
Like when we measured the 430 Scud barely 50kg below two other 430s.
Or when a GT3 RS came in only 12kg below a stock GT3, both with steel brakes and full tanks of gas.
So I am not sure how many pounds are saved without PCM, but I am quite confident that it's negligible compared to the "optimism" of manufacturer claims.
