cgt for 480k?

looking through the weekend LA Times I saw a new cgt "priced for a quick sale" at 480k/obo. don't know if it was for real but I really thought that these were selling for much more . anyone seeing these going for the usual 600k+ asking price? just curious where the market is on these.

There is (was?) one at Loeber Motors near Chicago, they were asking $15k over sticker. Drop asmith@loebermotors.com an email (tho he's out of town till Monday) -- I bought my GT3 from him.

I know of a couple cars which have gone off at sticker. That would seem to me to be market value right now. Too bad my delivery isn't a little later. Then again, they'd have to drop more than $50k (non-refund deposit) below MSRP for me to walk and buy in the market.

is the car worth window? repair costs and general operating hassles???
thinking about f50's at 650 and f40's at 320... a CGT at 350 becomes a nice rig!!

more practical than f-cars and they seem to be selling just fine at window and above. isn't porsche warranty two times longer? services are considerably less (needed) as well.

What I do not understand is why Porsche supercars do not get any financial respect. Whether its the CGT, GT2 and TT, they all take substantial depreciation hits though they outperform the competition.

No doubt over producing is an issue, But I believe there are other reasons but I cannot point to any.

I'm told that Walter's in Riverside sold one last week for less than that.
