Why is this being aired over the internet and why is thread not locked?

 

This happened very close to my house. They had the on ramps blocked off.
After review of the vid it's obvious that it was strictly driver error on the part of the Excursion and nothing else.

Posting this on every board so people hear your version first does not make you innocent. Doesn't make you guilty either, but man give it a rest. The truth always comes out in the end.

 

Ask anyone on the Gumball Rally where this originated from and they will all tell you the same people. I share with you the shock of the situation and disgust of what has occured. People with me in this Lambo circle will also verify these facts, I will let them jump in and verify this.

Make no mistake, it is sad and pathetic what has happened.

I respect the fact this person is a well known member here, but what occured yesterday is horrfic and people need to know what happened. A persons true colored showed yesterday, why are few trying to defend their actions?

Put yourself in the silver LP's place, how would you feel?

I hear what you're saying Kali, I wasnt there and didnt see the event unfold. I can see that Fred and Knick were somewhat behind and to the left of the vehicle. From the angle, it doesn't appear that they caused the accident.

I can also tell you that no where do I see a yellow Murcielago in the picture as well. It looks like the only person that will lose here is the owner of the Expedition and trailer. Good thing no one in his vehicle was hurt.

 

Dont forget the tremendous amount of stress and grief all the Lambo owners went through, all the stress the 200+ Gumballers went through once they heard this fictional story, in addition to the owners of the Gumball.

This was a pure fictionally based story a few developed to protect themselves, which caused tons of grief for many people. They would be home free if this tape did not surface, thank god it did. I have cleared the blame and grief for that LP owner.

Deep down inside can you really defend someone like this?

 

It appears that the exotics flying by probably distracted the guy as he came up on the curve of the freeway. In this day and age these events are literally an accident waiting to happen. It was most likely a 911 call from another motorist that started the false rumor of blaming the Lambo guys.

 

Hope no one was hurt...Wonder if the Expedition driver was distracted by the sound and visions of the exotics..looks like he just lost it and his rig was probably poorly set up..

 

Kali, nowhere in your posts do you indicate how you know who called 911. This seems to be a just another rumor. It could have been any of the people on the road most of whom don't know the difference between a lambo, cgt or f430. More likely some 3rd party made an ignorant statement about what car it was. If this was really a traumatizing event for the lambo owners, they should ask the police for a copy of the 911 telephone call and who it came from (it is a public record, although it might not be released until the investigation is done). This should clear this up. The "everyone knows" argument just doesn't cut it.
