New stable mate for the GT3 - a GTR

The car will pull on about anything heading down the strait. The power is phenomenal, and I have the shift to 5th gear, and see speeds of 136+ before I am in the brake zone again for turn 1. All of this happens in 1:02, about 2 seconds faster than I did in my Z06... Except... My Z had R compounds.
Peter - Congrats on the GTR and love the 3. Thats def a great stable of cars! I plan on picking up GTR as well, so anxious to hear more comparisons from REAL owners
BLACK is SICK, esp with some LMs!! Some colors def look better than others, but this one really caught my eye and sure looks ready for biz

Congrats, looks great. What i find Very interesting is that so far most of the people that bought a New a Skyline have also GT3/GT3-RS in addition to their other cars. Congrats
seen that NAGTROC video... can't wait for more of these to start filtering in.
and even more, can't wait for some good drivers in their GT-R's locking horns with some good drivers in Turbo's/GT3's on track.
i'm sure the GT-R will be impressive, and will earn some respect.
finally, also can't wait for some owners of Porsche's and other makes who also own and track their GT-R's, to chime in on reliability, durability, etc, after repeated track abuse.
just have to wait a bit longer i guess!

LOL. His will definitely be a very unique GTR in a couple of weeks time.
Tons of mods planned, including new paint.

Peter, funny to see my name is also Peter and I also have white GT3 and a (Gunmetal)GTR. It is such a hard choice, but I will sell the GTR.
I just got my GT3 unexpectedly and that is the only reason I have to sell it, but the GTR is a very impressive car, I love the look aspecially because it is backed up by awesome performance. They are both in my garage now, so different, but what a hard decision.
If I was not a track junky, it would be a no brainer, I much rather drive the Nissan all the time, faster, easier more comfortable. but as a track weapon, where I want to do all the rowing and Heel-n-towing, I prefer the GT3 for feel, but also because it is a know with a huge data and parts support system, like this forum.
I wish I could own both, I tried like hell to talk my wife into driving it and selling her MB, but she won't go for it...
Kinda hoping it won't sell, so I can at least take it to Sebring next weekend....

As others have mentioned, this is an incredible dilemma to be in, but a problem I would love to have. I have always been fascinated with engineering and greatly admire what both of these vehicles have to offer in this area, with totally differing approaches. I am amazed at the times that the gt-r has been able to put up with its sophisticated technology. However, that being said I would have to say that I would be more inclined to keep the porsche. My reasoning may seem off base, however, as I have mentioned to others in the past I feel as though nissan engineered the GT-R with porsche in mind, while porsche engineered their 911 models with the driver in mind. The results for each are amazing, and I appreciate them both, however, I respect porsche's approach to their engineering slightly better. That being said, keeping either car would not necessarily be a bad decision, both are incredible!!! Congrats on owning them both

Life is hard when you can only keep one:
