GT3 or Turbo: so confused
I have have a 3 now and had a TT prior to. I think this is fairly simple. If you plan on tracking the car get the 3 if not get the TT. The TT is much easier to drive on the street. the 3 is a ton more fun on the track. I think its that simple. If you are going to do both then buy the one that fits what you like most. I do drive my 3 on the street but frankly, its no fun for me, I would rather be driving it at the track at the limits not poking around at 65mph.
I'll definitely end up wrapped around a light pole in that car
I checked out the local market today. Gt3s are going for about 18% above MSRP mainly because they stopped production. I found an 07 Club Sport in white for $129K no PCCBs though, there is one with PCCB but it was in an accident for $134K not really to keen on that one though.
The other option is of course to go even more hardcore and get a GT3RS from the states for the same price as the white GT3 locally.

If you are more of a purist, then stick with the GT3.
I also agree with what everyone else here said too-- tracking: GT3. Street: Turbo.
I live in Dubai market prices for cars here are really crazy. Turbos are still going for just under MSRP for an 07 and over MSRP for an 08. GT3s are crazily priced they where at MSRP a few months ago and jumped up since then.
Well, i guess i am in a similar boat. I currently have an 08 C2S and am probably gonna swap it for either the 3 or the TT next year, going through the same though process and your all giving some great insight. How much different is the GT3 from the C2S (i am not a track guy yet but drive my S really hard. Twisties on weekends and triple digits on weekdays.
dont take this wrong but if you are considering comparing the two of them ... i wouldnt buy a GT3....
they are so different ... but go drive them both and you will instantly have your answer

Took the words out of my mouth. Most people who drive GT cars, know off the bat when they want it, why they want it and will not consider anything else that's total opposite.
This time around its a toss up I've had the Turbo now I want more of a drivers car, at the time of buying the turbo I had little experience with big hp rwd cars now I'm a lot more confident plus the GT3 now has traction control
Hah well to be honest my car decision went from Turbo -> Skyline -> GT3 -> Turbo/GT3
Personally I thought I was a torque addict myself but after getting my GT3 I rarely drive the TT and will probably sell it.
The overall driving experience in the GT3 is much more rewarding. You feel a connection to this car that the TT doesn't come close to. The TT is a somewhat insulated driving experience in comparison. Are there cars that want to race that will out accelerate my GT3 that I could blow away with the TT, yes and sometimes I wish I was driving the TT to teach them a lesson however that's the only advantage the TT has.
The decision gets a bit more complicated if your going to use it as a daily driver in traffic and/or bad weather. The TT's clutch is MUCH easier to use and the TT has 4wd.
You just answered your own question, get the TT. If you are a torque addict the GT3 will not work for you.

I drove a Scuderia 6 weeks ago and its an amazing car but it doesn't give you a kick in the pants like a turbo does!
