Talking Lodge Meeting

Gentlemen,

Just a few snaps of our latest Lodge meeting at Bedford on the 10th August.

After torrential rain during the day, a few chickens were sacrificed, the raingods appeased and at about 4pm we took to the track in blazing Sunshine!

Highlight of the day for me was being overtaken by a CGT driven in anger around the 4 mile GT circuit, an absolutely fantastic sound, more akin to an F1 car than a road car!

Anyway, enjoy! Next event is on the 15th September when we have a full programme including: Karting in the morning, Bedford in the afternoon and early evening and "Entertainment" into the wee small hours!!

I have tried to attach pictures but failed miserably, they can be viewed though at

There are surprisingly few RS or GT3 come to think of it with PCCB.

As previously mentioned mine are good for another few thousand, I know of one other RS that has had its front disks replaced at 14K miles. The three other regular track day boys with PCCB are all beggining to exhibit the same wear pattern as mine now, not good!

I had a good look at the CGT at our last track day and it shows none of the wear characteristics us mear mortals are eexperiancing. CGT has about 3k miles on it (I think) and a few track days.

I am awaiting a reply from Dunlop Aerospace as they are interested in bringing their aircraft technology to the automotive industry.

Watch this space!

As for the 3 legged donkey, tempting but I couldnt afford the depreciation on an MR2!!

SF was fun, though tiring. Rented a Lincon Constipator or some such with the worst build quality I have ever seen!! Tremendous fun though!!

In LA in a few weeks if you are around.

Keep smiling.

P.
