Ok, can any of you guys help me out.

I about to pull trigger on a set of Hoosiers but I keep hearing reports of these having movement within the rims especially on the slightly heavier/powerful TT's. Is there any other options/brands out there for a Slick Tire.

Not sure what comes in your sizes but the general consensus seems to be around Michelin and Dunlop slicks followed by the Yokos.

not hoosiers!

Michilene or dunlops ar the choice tires... the only choice for a slick...

they hold up, good turn in, dont get to greasy,,, fast after first lap and remain relitve consistant

hoosiers are very mushy feeling turn in is slow dont grab well under heavy braking...

Steven,

The Hoosiers you are about to buy are DOT slicks and not true slicks. Hoosier doesn't make them yet in our sizes. I think they have just released a cup car size this month.

True racing slicks are a different animal. I think some of the recommendations you are geting on this thread are for racing slicks and not DOT slicks.

Al Norton is right...

Call Fabryce at GMG -- they have experience with slicks -- and they even had some slightly used ones for sale recently.
